Two Men Jump Off Tallest Buildings

•November 24, 2008 • 2 Comments

I found a very interesting story about a British man and French man who jumped off the tallest building in the world. What they were doing, was illegal base jumping. Here is the video that they shot when jumping. There was to be another jump, but the Frenchman and a different British man were caught before they could jump. They were arrested and held in Dubai.

This tower is called the Burj Dubai. This tower is not yet finished being built. It is 818 m tall, and this tower is so big, that  it will not be finished until sometime around  September 2009.

The Zeppelin in San Francisco

•November 3, 2008 • 1 Comment

The zeppelin is a blimp that flies over San Francisco.  it has 12 seats the coast is about $495 if book all 12 seats you will get a discount.  There are even windows in the bath room so you won miss a sight

this zeppelin is not a blimp but it does look like one.  This zeppelin can go 35mp.  You should by one of these tickets to see the big city of San Francisco.  This air ship is 246 feet long.  This air ship has no flame in side of it so it wount cach on fire and the matereal tyhat it is made out of is not flamable. This rid is a lot more fun then a air plane or helecopter because it is a lot slower and you can acturaly see the land marks.airship_ventures.jpg

Tiny spycam hidden in a tradeshow badge

•October 26, 2008 • 1 Comment

This spycam is so small it is built into a tradshows badge.  The $174 tinycam shoots video at a low-rez 352×288, and snags stills at a higher-rez 1280×1024.  Once you’ve grabbed the shots you need, plug it into a PC via USB for transfer and charging.

It looks a bit thick for absolute sneakiness, but it might go unnoticed with bulky badge holder like those handed out at CES.  you should get one of these because it would help u ceach shop lifters.spycam_cesbadge.jpg

Elephant Pumps

•October 16, 2008 • 1 Comment

The Elephant Pumps are used for getting clean water.  To make these pumps is quite simple and it only takes about four hours.

Now, what makes the Elephant Pump so different from the other popular low maintenance pump is that these pumps are made way diffrent.  There depth is 80-100m.  High durability, low-maintenance vs. <40m depth, simple design, cheaper.

These pumps are made for schools.  The Elephant Pump yields about one litre of clean water every second for an average well depth of 20 metres.”

A Canadian photostory

•October 14, 2008 • 2 Comments

Well to start a photo story you need to think of what you are going to make it on and when you are done that you need to get all the pictures you want to us.

Then you need to arange the pictures for how you want them. Now you need to put affects one them like sliding in from left or right zoom in zoom out sparal in or out. Then you can also put words on the pictures you can also recored your own voice if you have a mice to plug in. This is how to make a photo story.

My photostory is about what being canadian means to me. we first started getting pictures we our first picture is a canadian flag. We also got a lot of pictures of snow and ice and lakes because our stoey takes place in May. now that we got our pictures we are going to get our affects we did not us very many of them. Now we have to do recording and put words on the pictures. First we put words on the pictures that did not take very long then we got to the recording that took forever But finaly we fineshed. Now the last thing to do is to save it and upload it to Youtube.com. Finaly here is our video.
